About Mt. Carmel Community

We are delighted that you are interested in Mt.Carmel Community and hope that you will find the information on our website informative and helpful. Whenever you are talking with us about Mt. Carmel you will often hear the words family, home, and community. This is deliberate and sincere. We consider our senior living community more than just a place to live. Our goal is for you to consider this your new extended family and to find your home in our community!

One thing we truly believe sets Mt. Carmel Community apart from other facilities is that we are locally owned and owner managed. Not only do the administrators strive to make sure our facility is a nice, clean building, but also a loving, compassionate place that you can call home.  Our staff is committed to providing personal attention and taking quality care of our residents.

Mt. Carmel Community is a licensed Assisted Living II facility. We encourage and enable our residents to enjoy as much independence as possible by providing assistance, as needed, with the activities of daily living and medication management.

More independent seniors might find our garden home option a more suitable transition from their own home, while still allowing them to be a part of our community. The peace of mind and security of having help nearby when needed and yet maintaining a private residence is an attractive alternative for independent seniors.

Our continuation of care also provides a Memory Care option for individuals with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. At Mt. Carmel Community, we call our Memory Care Unit, “Elijah’s Place.” Along with 24-hour nursing care, residents of Elijah’s Place benefit from a lower resident to staff ratio. We are pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of senior living options at each of our three locations.

Come be a part of Mt. Carmel Community! We’ll welcome you into our family.
