Mt. Carmel is the pinnacle of senior living. Find out why!

Assisted Living

Assisted Living is an easy-to-understand concept.  Our staff can and will provide our residents “assistance” with their activities of daily living.  These activities can include, but are not limited to, medication management, bathing, dressing, transferring, and toileting.  Of course, meals, housekeeping, transportation to medical appointments, a full slate of activities, and social interaction are invaluable components of an assisted living community as well.  As a true assisted living facility, Mt. Carmel is licensed and overseen by the state through the Office of Long Term Care.

Independent Living

Mt. Carmel Community offers an attractive option for the more independent senior who wants to maintain a private residence while still taking advantage of meal plans, transportation to medical appointments, and housekeeping and lawn services, as well as an emergency call system. Our Garden Homes offer approximately 1,300 square feet of comfortable living space along with an oversized single garage. All of our garden homes are one level and wheelchair accessible. Come see how we can help the active senior enjoy an independent and stress-free life!

Memory Care

At Mt. Carmel Community, we call our “Memory Care”, Elijah’s Place.  Elijah was a man who trusted God.  He faced seemingly insurmountable obstacles that challenged his faith.  At Elijah’s Place, we believe the most important aspect of Elijah’s character were his unfailing love and compassion.  Realizing that each person with more severe dementia or Alzheimer’s condition, are unique and special individuals; we strive to demonstrate patience, creativity, and persistence in overcoming these barriers.  It is our intent and desire to create a safe, supportive, structured, and loving environment where individuals with dementia can achieve and maintain their highest practical level of cognitive, physical, emotional, and social functioning.
